I was telling something similar to my curmudgeonly 88 year-old grandfather. He and I were arguing about technology. He said today's youth were over-reliant on technology; much more than his generation.
I stated that was absolutely not true- his generation was much more reliant on technology than mine. But he was so insufferably stubborn that I was forced to pull the plug on his life support system in order to prove it.
